Pumpkin!
It's the Fall essential that typically deems itself worthy enough to hang around until November. We carve them, play with them (pumpkin guts, anyone?), cook, and buy candles emanating the scent of them. Now are you ready to fall even more in love with the ultimate Renaissance fruit? Well buckle up because we're about to drop some serious pumpkin knowledge.

Pumpkin is incredible for your skin! It contains a ton of amazing properties that will benefit your complexion in many different ways. How so you ask?
•Pumpkin is packed with fruit enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which increase cell turnover to brighten and smooth the skin.
• It contains the antioxidants Vitamin A and Vitamin C to help soften and soothe the skin and boost collagen production to prevent signs of aging.
• Zinc in pumpkin seeds is brilliant for acne sufferers. Zinc will help control the hormone level and oil production, as well as assist with healing the skin.
• Pumpkin seeds are high in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, which are necessary to maintain proper barrier function of the skin. They also regulate sebum, which again, makes it a great selection for  acneic skin.
• The molecular structure of pumpkin is small and therefore can penetrate deeper into the skin when used topically. This is amazing for treating a dull complexion, aging skin and pigmentation.

So if you're looking to buy some pumpkins, great. Sadly, they don't fit on our shelves so we've decided to do the next best thing- create fabulous, beneficial skin and body treatments featuring none other than PUMPKIN!
